Kobe for Erika
I totally want to blog about TOC. I didn't get a chance to go see any part of it, but I saw pictures. And, man, I have a few things to say.
Hopefully will find some time later today.
In the meantime, there was a segment on the women's race and Brooke Miller and Team Tibco on KGO this morning. Thats huge publicity. A 30 second spot on KGO is about as expensive as it gets in the radio industry. It would be awesome if the TOC promotors could add another race or two to this event. This one race for them went a long way towards promoting women's cycling.

i do luv me some Kobe...
but i might just have to stop eating these lovely critters...
hey what about me? I like me some kobe too, and I'd eat it also
marscat is going veggie again...
p.s. marscat saw Natasha on the VS coverage of the women's race
road trip!
lol, actually, i don't do kobe either. but i so do the flatbread.
nice pic, vb :-)
it'd be cool if they could do a womens crit on the last day of the race also. huge crowds, cool circuit. maybe next year?
You know, I'm pretty sure cows and bulls do not discriminate against meat eaters. I know this because as I was riding through a (not so legal) pasture somewhere in wilder about 8 years ago, I kept telling the herd I was a veggie-tarian and i would never eat them, but they didn't seem to care and wouldn't move. and in fact i think they considered stampeeding me. (I saw their thought bubble "Lets run over the wee veggie girl--just for giggles.") Now I sure loves me some In and Out...
i think they're starting to clone kobe. aren't they? i think i read that somewhere.
i might be done with it too soon.
Erika was the only one who asked for some. Now you just have to get in line?
Kobe clones? I guess that doesn't help of they dont feed them the fancy grass and give them massages and stuff.
I was a vegetarian for almost 15 years. I have no desire whatsoever to return to that. No matter how photogenic. But no worries about the bull in the pic, judging by the way he was prancing around the tippy top of the hill, they are keeping him around.
I smell a Bque in our future - maybe we settle for grass-fed (matches fabu Sabine pics), free-range, organic burgers? That's sort of how I am, um, 'veggie'. But not to make true vegetarians cranky! I totally see the value in it, but...moooooooo!
meow to marscat
in what hour did you here the segment? I'd like to listen to the archive...
I'm not sure I even remember what it tasted like. The meat part, I mean.
But life is short. Eat and be happy :-)
