More Thor
I am not usually one for the blondies, but this man is just a lovely speciman.
And here's a lovely little analysis of the sprint before the sprint. I love when the camera shows the action from 1K to 500M as that is where all the shit goes down. ROough and tumble as they say. But the slo-mo repeats always show the last 200M instead.
Yummyliscious!

drool...drool...where's b-man?..dangit
hear, here!!! more thor!
SMASH ;-)
Yay for his Thor-ness.
Fun sprinty chaos today, and it didn't take all day to get there.
yay! more thor!
i just went to try and watch it.
you know how it goes after a nice mtb ride. you get your burrito, heat it up, get your drink and you go sit down on the couch to watch the tour...
and you skip to the end so you can see the sprint and the damn tivo only records up until 4.8 kilometers to go.
Thorburrito
at first i thought you and lauren might get some points on cat's contest, but nothing for this stage
don't feel bad, i don't have any points either.
I don't have any points either, and Marscat is really mad at me for opening up this page since she didn't know about Thor and OV's blog had spoiled her last two days...
what about robbie hunter...he looks so dumb pounding the bars in frustration....
Mars needs to stop looking over your shoulder when you are on the computer
I just started watching today's coverage too. Some of us don't get to see it until evening. I guess I'll just stop reading here to avoid surprises in the future.
It's helpful to title your blog posts something like "stage 4" so that we know there are spoilers in the post.
did you look over Ippoc's shoulder too?
BAHAHAHA!
VB = smartass.
Hunter did look kinda dorky, poor guy.
"Stage 4" doesn't really rhyme.
I am not a smartass!
I just like Thormeat
Its just that this "I'm pretending so everyone else needs to pretend until I am ready to watch" thing that comes up every tour time is a pet peeve of mine.
Are too :-)
LOL, yeah, I'm with ya on the spoiler thing.
Me? I'm very happy to be gazing at the Thorminator. A lovely sight to come upon while stumbling about the interwebs.
Yum.
maybe you shoulda titled it SPOILER.
and then left a giant white space.
and then all the way at the bottom of the post, you shoulda posted a naked picture of thor or something.
yeah, do that for tomorrow's SPOILER. post a sexy picture of the stage winner.
and walk around all day saying SPOILER as you pass people in the hallway while mumbling the stage winner.
y'all are Thor Whores.
naked pictures of the winners? Good God, let's pray Levi doesn't win any stages!
hats a good idea Lauren except what of Moreau wins?
or, heaven forbid, Rasmussen?
talk about a spoiler.
this comment page gave me more laughs today then much of the rest of the interwebs put together. EXXXCCCCEELLLENNNNT!
:-) I'm peeved by the save me from knowledge until i can watch it on TIVO crowd, too!
yeah, after i made the comment it was Rasmussen that made me think i should go back and delete the comment.
That would definitely need a spoiler warning. Rasmussen, I mean.
Maybe I need to write a how-to guide to avoiding spoilers. I'm such a dork I once waited four days for coverage of one of the classics. No internet (except email) for four whole days. Ack, the horror!
naked picx of the sprint stages only.....the climbing stages? ack!!!
I used to watch the tour @ night, but working @ a bike shop it was impossible to miss the conversations all day (and the coverage on the shop tv) so now I watch in the morning. I'm watching right now actually, 8km to go.......I won't spoil anything, I promise.
more thor!!!
8K? there is 24K to go...
Just so I am clear, I am cool with the pretending, I do it too sometimes (although not for 4 days heavens sake!)
I couldn't wait 4 days either...I'd forget what I was waiting for...
"spoiler"...
Ippoc is very sad today...
LOL, it was for Liege, which is one of my favorite races. I knew I could download coverage, if I was willing to wait for it. I had a ton of stuff to do, so it was a good excuse to pull the plug on the interwebs.
I did say I was a total dork :-)
I prefer to know who wins before I watch (especially sprint stages), but I still pretend -- I pretend I am learning stuff from the events leading up to the finish that will help me in my races.
Really I'm just drooling over those crazed animals on the charge. Mmmmm.
poor vino...
