What the Fluff?

My back hurts. Its amazing how frail cycling makes you. I can ride my bike for hours or miles, but put me to a little physical work and I am a wimp.

And its only prize bag packing I am talking about.

I could never be a strawberry picker. I would just cry.

But its worth it, the prize bag packing I mean. I may be biased, but I think we have the best prize bags ever. Especially if you like fluff and silly. Not everyone likes fluff and silly, but we are velo bella and its halloween and you will get fluff and silly and you will like it.

Too much fluff can give you a headache though. I have feathers in my hair and glitter on my nose and kitty ears on my head and sparkle bracelets on my wrists, and its giving me a migraine.

You all better like your fluff is all I can say.

If I should be so lucky as to win any fluff I will adore it for years to come.

How is that for a little pre-fluff appreciation?

you're awesome, as always, VB. I'm going to miss the race on Sunday -- very bummed but duty calls! have an awesome event and keep smiling.

mmm fluff. my friend just visited nyc and brought me back some mallomars...where, apparently, 70% of all mallomars are sold.

I dont think there are any sticky eyes. But there are googly eyed monsters, and eyeball gum.

we have sticky eyes in our bags but you need to be a kid for one of those bags...we haven't started putting the stuff in the bags yet...we might get some candy...is that ok for the kiddie bags?

yeah, candy's good. halloween is all about candy.

but you should get milkyway type candy. chocolate bars and maybe some brownies and chocolate kisses.

yeah, do that. kids like chocolate.

marscat makes a mean rice krispie treat, but I think we'll go with Lauren's milkway suggestion-that was ok'd by Lulu, right? I think pomegranate's might take up too much room

I am so sad to miss the fluff! However, I just came into possession of four different shades of ostrich fan, so that dulls the pain a little. Just enough to keep going.

Is there a fluff bag for the red lantern? I hope so. Me and my gimpy back may be hobbling around the course at a record slow pace.

Home made Santa Cruz brownies are for pre-race, not post.

Homemade SC brownies are for pre-race, post-race, nuttin' to do with the race, sitting on the beach two weeks after the race ....

Maybe I need to scare up a bike so I can get some fluff.

Hey uh, save some of those SC brownies for the 35+ women goodie bags would ya?

You guys have the BEST goodies bags - I still wear my Vanderkitten T-shirt from two years ago. And the thought of winning something other than an XL mens T-shirt is making me want to try and go fast on Sunday.

Thanks for putting on one of the best races in the Bay Area.

Julie
