Reaching New Heights of Buffoonery
I keep finding new and clever ways of crashing myself.
I wonder what I looked like, with one hand caught between my rear wheel and frame, index finger getting tire smooshed, foot trying to unclip...before coming to an abrupt stop and plunking over in the middle of the road.
...just as the Specialized ride, and my ex, some teenagers in a pickup, and our in house legal council, were headed in the other direction.
Sometimes rides that are meant to clear your head don't work out as planned.

oh no! that looks painful. was this the road bike?
a fried of ours caught her hand between the frame and wheel also.
That looks stingy.
So you have to tell us how you ended up with your hand caught before you actually crashed.
you should not be allowed on your bike 2 weeks before kern
migo sends lots of sloppy kisses
she went and raced the San Jose Twilight crit after work.
and rode great.
tough girl.
I was trying to wipe off the glass that I just rode through.
me = klutzo
ack!
that picture is making my skin hurt.
Oops, that was me. Michael is not a klutzo
and smooshing your finger in the tire makes it hard to type
ouchy!
looking at the bright side (cus I am such the optimistic type)...
at least there were no blackberry bushes or poison oak....
oh dear.
i did the same thing a few months ago and have a hole in my neoprine glove (and thumb) to prove it. the poor minty recruit who i was riding with was a bit scarred by the whole thing.
Straight home with some good lovin for you:)
aw...boo boo
You're turning into a regular road warrior! First intervals in rain, then this...what is next?
You should race the Salinas Crit and cash out baby. I want to...but we'll see if sleep is in my future.
oW! cyclistrick and i were trying to figure out how that happened and decided you must have been trying to get glass off your tire. molto bummer.
if it makes you feel better, i think we are the world's most clumsy couple. we do stuff like that all the time.
Road rash & bruises will make you look even tougher for Kern. Plus they match the VB kit...
Oh noo!!! We're going to have to see about getting you one of those "grabber-claws on a stick" so you don't have to reach down while riding.
owie!
my elbow is totally oozing right now
