Today's priorities
I know exactly what I want to complete my halloween costumes. Yes, costumeS. Halloween should be spread to as many days possible.
So, I know exactly what I want...I can see it so clearly in my head. But when I have found it, it costs a bazillion dollars or its in the UK.
I wish I had the skillz of those designer people that Michael made me watch last night. Then I could take whats in my head and make it. But my sewing fu is bad. I'm more of a safety pin/duct tape kind of seamstress.
So, I am off to a tour of San Jose Goodwills
and then I'll get my ride in.
and then I'll get my work done.

christ on a stick...
safety pins, duct tape, and staples. but staples aren't good around bikes since they can cause flats. working in theatre for almost 2 decades I learned all the tricks. of course, I still don't have a costume. pick one up for me, too?
darn.. That guy beat me to that costume design!! GRR.
Hunting for another one.. and NOT NACHO LIBRE!
you're better off than I am
the head's empty
completely empty
(so what's new)
i can do a lot with a needle and thread
but there are no fabric stores around here and no time to go a'shopping and a'sewing
so i say: accessorize!!!

one time I was a zebra: all painted in B&W..that was it - just B&W paint-now I am way too old for that costume...no one at the party had a camera - thank goodness
BRENTY!
i totally see our costume coming together.
... oy
help gin, help.
Hey Brent - go ahead in the uber manotard as I'm sure you both won't show up at the same party... that'd be REALLY embarassing.
I may have to crack out the Aladdin costume that I actually sewed together. That was a good call. Nothing like spending hours sewing a Halloween costume together while learning how to use the sewing machine.
