Fashion Geekage-ness

I just ordered two more pairs of a shoe I already own.
This, in several colors, could be the only shoe I ever need.

Except for my go go boots, of course.

I hope Laura doesn't find out about my fashion geekage-ness and kicks me out of the bellas or anything.

They look like old-lady clogs with that heel retention material sewn on there. Wear those with knee high nylons and shorts and you'll be the desire of septuagenarians worldwide...

These don't really qualify as F.M. shoes. You must be getting old.

I know. I know.

And you weren't too far off with the knee highs as I really should be wearing compression stockings too.

Maybe they come in pink fishnet style?

Did someone say pink fishnets? :)

And some more women better pipe up and admit to the dirty little secret of Dansko

I know I am not the only one. I have seen your shoes ladies. And I want a pair.

I've worn these boots for over 1/2 of my life:

Clark's Desert Boots.

Not in any of the colors they have now as my favorite color has been discontinued. :( So I know what it means to have a favorite shoe.

Those clogs work PF. But I have to disagree - sometimes uncomfortable shoes are appropriate. Like these shoes:

Plateau Shoes

Probably not very comfy but does anyone care? I liked the name of them too.

I am so all about those, Mike.

Hah...I just saw this!! I'll have you know I just ordered a replacement pair last week and I have been stalking dansko outlet, flirting with the idea of ordering another pair! You are not alone!

PS Jed I disagree. A whole pigtaily schoolgirl look can be pulled of in these and besides having a girl with happy pretty feet is much nicer than a cranky gal with bedraggled cranky blister ridden stilleto toes ...trust me

I, too, own 2 pairs of the Danskos (aka nurse shoes)--they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! People are always trying to reassure me that they aren't dorky, but I make sure to leave the Danskos at home when I'm going out and trying to look hip like the rest of the kids (they are my "work shoes"). But those shoes are like Christmas on my feet...and I've convinced at least one other MN Bella to buy them (and she loves them too...but I won't "out" her here).

Yow PF...those are hot.

And yes, there are sometimes occasions

Dawn. You know why I love suz?

She wears hot shoes and doesn't care about discomfort.

Now THAT is hot.

PS: The whole schoolgirl thing only does it for me if the heels are OVER 6". Those nurse shoes are NOT hot.

Nooooo...this is all wrong on a Velobella blog.

I don't mind tolerating jumperdresses and flat shoes at work, but must we go the school marm way at VB?
Slap* slap* wake up!
Bring back the go go boots.
